after paying obscene amount of money for a friends' farm , another developer goes belly up... never got to build 1 house on it.... good....my friend gets rich, and the local zoning laws will prohibit future building thereif it passes(..right now that's a 99% chance according to studies)... that makes 3 huge developments that 's done for...good. no tears will be shed by the locals.... troiuble is, too little too late. according to WV Dept of Ag, over 1.8 million acres of Farmland have been lost since 1982, with over 40% of that in the 3 Eastern Panhandle counties....THAT'S sad

that is sad, but keep them over there and away from me!!!!! haha

good to hear that they're changin stuff though and they won't be putting cookie cutter houses up

Hate to break it to you Rem. It's only post poned to a future date. There will be a development there one day. Your just having a market correction in your area. You sound no different then the locals in my area wanting to keep this town the same. Growth will happen and my area is only the beginning.
