This has been posted for a couple days in the Deer Hunting and the Firearms sections. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to post for a while... I thought it was more appropriate here.
How about it Democrats? This guy is one of yours. Former Ambassador to some African hell-hole, appointed by his royal geniousness, the Honorable William Jefferson Klinton.
I see their first step as packing the Supreme Court with a bunch of anti-2nd Amendment Leftists who will interpret the 2nd Amendment out of existence.
You want this garbage to become a reality... vote for a[adjective deleted for purposes of propriety]Democrat for President.

so by your logic may ipresume that David Duke represents your party'score values, and a vote for any [adjective deleted for the purposes of propriety] Republican for President would be a vote for racism?

There are a number ofproblems with your presumption:the Democrats, with the possible exception of Bill Richardson, who doesn't have a snowball's chance... have (1) anti-gun voting records or (2) judicial philosophies that will likely have extremely adverse 2nd Amendment impacts. Furthermore, the Republican party's core values have, to my knowledge, never included a platform of racism. I don't think you can say the same about the Democrat party's platform as regards gun control.
And, in case you weren't aware, I doubt Duke has any real political affiliation other than opportunism. He first sought office in 1975 as a Democrat (shortly after establishing a Lousiana KKK branch in 1974- Maybe he's a close personal friend of Sen. Byrd???), and ran in 1988 primaries for the Democrat presidential nomination. He was on the 1988 presidential ballot as a member of the Populist Party.

RE: Democrat says "Disarm America"
Lanse hit the nail on the head. Or as to why it would be impossible to disarm America. Besides, they could take all the legal registered guns, and that would only make a dent. How many of you have old guns passed down from generation to generation. The guns that were not registered in the begining, or registered to someone so far removed from you that tracking it down would be impossible.

all valid points.
and it's equally valid to say the core values of the democratic party do not include police state-like sweeps into random neighborhoods and homes in violation of the bill of rights. the author is a hyperbolic nutjob, and is not representaive of the party as a whole, no matter how hard you try to paint it that way. just as your correctly point out that duke does not represent the republican party.
