Where do some people get the idea thatdisarming people that get their guns legallywill reduce crime rates? Do they really think that criminals will bein the sameline toturn in their gunsas law abiding citizens would?
In my opinion, this would only lead to one thing, a skyrocket in crime and more than ever, innocent people being assulted or murdered !!!!!
While all the law abiding citizens are turning their guns in, all the criminals will be waiting with watering mouths with the anticipation to an indefinate society that cannot defend themselves.[:'(]

The disarmament process would begin after the initial three-month amnesty. Special squads of police would be formed and trained to carry out the work. The author's idea isn't even original, just ask the subjects of England, Australia, and South Africa, because subjects is exactly what they are. They're subject to a total loss of their rights at any time.

The right to bear arms is a constitutional right and will NEVER be taken away from us in our lifetimes, let them idiots think they can change it but it is what this great country is based upon and hopefully it will never change but if it does it will not be soon
You must be crazy if you think it won't happen just because the constitution says so. The 3 branches of government have quit following the constitution long ago. Tell me in the constitution where it says "separation of church and state" which is a term made up by the judicial branch. Where in the constitution does it speak about welfare, foreign aid, farm subsidies, dept of education, interior, etc? It doesn't. Our "leaders" have quit following the constitution many years ago. The goverment will not take our guns like it was portrayed in the article, they will take them one small step at a time.
