Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Slaby not going to get charges filed.

This makes me sick. Here in Texas, you will get a ticket for leaving a child in your vehicle and running into a 7-11or a bank ATM. They will not file charges because she did not show neglect???? What???? And to add to this, this was not the first time she had left a child in a car. Hell, it was reported she had done it just the day before. It appears this women was way to busy to be a mother. Either too busy, to full of herself, or just a retard. Which ever it is, she should have never had kids.

That's a crock! A guy got prosecuted for the very same circumstances here a few years ago, and they all but gave him the needle! If I remember correctly he got life with parole once the smoke cleared, which is the least she deserves.

This case has been non-stop in the news around here since the day it happened. The local prosecutor has been reamed out for not trying to press charges. But he maintains that there wasn't a legal basis for it. Most critics are pointing out that if had been a poor black or redneck woman who had left the kid in a Pinto, she would still be in jail. But, it was a middle-class assistant school principal with some connections in the community. However, it has been pointed out that in similar cases, charges have only been brought about half the time.

Lanse

Has the NAACP started in on the D.A.? I ask because our local news is saying that the NAACP is pissed because a black, OH. women was jailed this year for leaving her dog in her car.
