Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Who won the Debate

I thought McCain did better that ecpected this time. I am still not thrilled with any of the Candidates from either party. I Hope Thompson gives us a true choice.

I agree, I think if we had to vote right now I wouldn't vote for any of them. Hopefully a good one will step up.

Come on, has there been a real debate yet? I'm guilty, I've never watched. I've found it better to see what the have said outside of the debates. I have a few I could vote for and some I won't. I know I won't get the chance until the final election in 08.

Just turned it on and I'm wondering if it just me or should Rudy go retro with a wig from 250 years ago???? I'm being serious, I really think it could go along way in this day and age.

I listened to the debate on the radio because I was driving all night. I am by no means a McCain supporter, but I also think he came acrosspretty well. Maybe if I didn't feel like he was a self serving, grudge holdingegomaniac, I wouldn't hold my nose to vote for him if it came down to himand any goon or goonett the democrats nominate. I doubt McCain will win though, because he has too many bridges to reconstruct that he burned with the Republican base.

On the Radio, I thought Huckabee was alsogood.

The chances of Ron Paul getting the Republicannominationare about the same as a pro-life candidate getting the Democratic nomination.

I don't hold it against Fred Thompson so much that he wasn't there, but sometimes I wonder just how friendly he is to the second amendment. He is going to have to really impress me on that issue to swing me his direction. Him and Giuliani have me concerned on their moral social issues like gay marriage and abortion.

Giuliani, kept touting all his executive experiencewith his achievements in New York, but on the radio he came across as least presidential to me.

I'd like to hear more from Duncan Hunter.

Mitt really did not shine IMO.

Anyway, that was my take from listening to it on the radio.

I agree, McCain did have a good showing. I agree with C.Davis, Huckabee did a good job as well. Giulliani was par for the course.

Funny howsome poles had Paul ranked very high. Fox news had him as the winner on their text message pole. (that was at least until I went to bed, not sure if it stayed that way).

Of the candidates who participated in the debate I wouldn't vote for any of them, too many are RINOs and the ones who aren't are weak in other areas that disqualify them for me. Giuliani is a proven fag lover who supports abortion on demand, McCain is anti First Amendment and Second Amendment judging from his voting record, Romney is the gov of libbyland, the rest have no chance at all. So far I've been very impressed with the campaign that Thompson has(n't) been waging, his pointed forays into the youth vote via the internet have been refreshing and should keep his name well before their impressionable eyes come '08. He already has enough face time with more mature conservative voters, and the free publicity he's been handed on a silver platter will stack up well against his more well heeled opponents. In fact, his frugal campagning should strike a very resonant chord with conservative voters. If the current herd of libbies who would appear moderates(for now) is the best that the dummycraps can do then Fred should have little trouble winning.

I'd vote for any one of the Republican candidates (with the exception of the Libertarian Ron Paul, whom anyone with a brain can see is not actually a Republican) over the demoncraps.

I'm not thrilled by any of the Republicans, but I despise all of the Democrats. Vote for the lesser evil. Seems what it comes down to everytime nowadays. You get to vote between terd sandwiches and cannonfodders.

Well Thompson is in. I hope he gets serious now and blows Hillary out of the water. Its scary to think that that witch actually has a serious chance of winning it all. Between Her and Omama if they run together in this liberal stinking atmosphere, we could have a real mess.
