It doesnt matter what a black celebrity does. There will be other blacks come to their defense for no other reason but because they are black. Just look back at the OJ case. A black celebrity could rape and murder a whole town full of children and I'll promise you there would be some blacks come to defend them. I'll never understand it....

And white's don't do this? Heck right is right, wrong is wrong. Come on man why make everything a black/white thing. I think the sentiments that Mr. Vick is getting from many black people is one of..."okay he did it...but at least let him go through the legal process first." Most people had Vick guilty before he even entered the legal process. Not coming to his defense because of course he should be subjected to the APPROPRIATE sanctions, be it jail time, fines, suspensions, whatever. But at the very least give the guy a chance to go through the process. I haven't read or heard what Foxx's position is on the matter so I won't go there...yet.

Nope, Foxx made it a black white thing. We are suppose to except that dog fighting is part of the black culture. Funny how many of my friends find Vick repulsive, and funny enough, they are black as well.

WRONG!! Kybuckhunter made the comment about blacks coming to oneanothers defense. My question again is, what race doesn't do this in some way shape or form. You prove MY point burnie in that you have black friends who find the conduct repulsive. Most black people will readily admit that Vick was wrong. Does it mean he should be crucified in the manner in which he is?Many of you are more concerned about a bunch of dogs (who probably would have had to have been killed anyway if they were bred to fight) than other social injustices that happen everyday[:'(]Such asthe 4 BLACKteenagers from Newark N.J who were headed to college.You don't see nearly the public outcry that you get from the Vick situation.IMO all of us need a reality check. I see, sorry. I kinda over looked who you were addressing. But I still dislike Foxx for trying to justify a hanis act due to a racial norm.
And to address the dog issue. If they had not been breed, they would not have existed. They were brought to this earth for one reason. To fight. and Vick did it. So I stick with my guns in my beration of him.
