Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Who would you vote for?

There seems to be some interest in the presidential election before us, but I was wondering what the discussion might be if there were other candidates who threw their hats into the ring. So, suppose your choice were from among the following, who would you support and what would be your rationale:

(1) Adolph Hitler: strong oratory skills, cool looking mustache, but weak record on treatment of ethnic groups

(2) Vlad the Impaler: proven record for dealing with domestic threats (+15,000 invaders impaled on stakes), limited information on economic policy, but has a face that will definitely limit his appeal to the ladies

(3) Alexander the Great: well known depth of foreign policy knowledge, strong military leader, but has some family skeltons in the closet and an ugly drinking problem

(4) Kim Jong-il: successful, proven immigration policy (shoot to kill), snappy dresser, but already has a job

What do you think? Other prospective candidates you want to add to this list?

Judas Iscariot- sold out to the opposition for 30 pieces of silver. I hope they were more than nickels.

I would not support Adolph Hitler as he would probably try to increase the scope of the Patriot Act to further strengthen the Executive Branch.

How about Hannibal, he showed an ability to fight a protracted foreign war successfully on a tight budget.

How about Stalin? Good record ofindustrial development, great for the defense and prison industry and population control (20+ million disappeared and never came back from the prison system) and he knows how to stay in power (30 years), so we wouldn't need to worry about elections, voter caging issues, etc. Plus he's green (BIG on nuclear power)!
