Hogwash.
In the United States, if the same person had
no health care, it would have been much better...
He would never have gotten an MRI and would have never known that he had a brain tumor...He would have tolerated the headaches or at the very least would have hesitated to visit a doctor to even get so much as a recommendation for an MRI, because it would have been entirely out of pocket.
Instead, he would have died quietly in his sleep. There. That's better, eh?
Apples and oranges comparison in the video...a comparison of a supposedly lesser system of health care to a system where a large percentage of Americans have NONE...and whatever health care the uninsured or underinsured
can beg, borrow, and steal, is funded by those that are paying into the system now. But as long as your "employer" is footing the bill for the uninsured in America, that type of twisted taxation is just peachy.
Where health care does exist in America, it is a for-profit business, not a "service."
Duplication of services exists on a regional basis in America versus areas with poor or no services in very rural areas...not unlike the situation which may be in place in the video. Where does the patient normally live and/or work? How many MRI providers are available in what may be one of the more remote areas of that huge nation with large, sparsely populated regions.
If someone tells you a story, replete with video and sound, you still need to use your brain. (Pun intended). This very forum has had first-hand evidence which contradicts the video. We've had many of our Canadian brothers attest to the fact that they experience no meaningful problems as to access to medical services on a timely basis. The response of the this board: no comment.
So what do you have? A "youtube video" hosted and posted on that website by whom? What is their motiviation? To reveal what is supposedly a deep, dark secret which an entire nation is somehow keeping hidden from the rest of the world?
If there were truly a problem, truly widespread to the point where Canadians are dying from lack of timely services on critical health issues, you surely would NOT be hearing about it on something so reliable
as a youtube video.
