Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default So where did these go?

Havent seen anyone mention the 190,000 Ak-47s and pistols the have been misplaced in Iraq, what do you all suppose happened to them.According to the Government accountability office from June 2004 to Sept 2005 ,355,000 weapons were given to Iraq security forces.Currently they have no idea where 54% of those weapons went.We also seem to be missing 135,000 items of body armor and 115,000 helmets. At least some of the missing items seem to be in use against US forces.[&o]

Well....historically U.S. soldiers love war trophies, as my pops brought back a coupel .303 Enfields from Vietnam. With that said it would be about impossible for a U.S. service person to smuggle back a weapon or other said contraband item.
My guess is that they were sold/given to insurgents.
A third option could be that it is a part of Kosherboys theory regarding another 9/11 plot.

LOL, after reading Kosherboys theory Im thinking #2 is the most plausible.Funny, I thought more people might be alarmed we had "misplaced" such a vast number of weapons in such a hostile place, apparently its nothing out of the ordinary

Aw, that's an easy one, Peta.

That's what Fieldmouse is talking about when he says, "We're taking the war to the enemy."

I love it when you call those places and the service agent speaking in an accent that is obvious says "ello, my name is Frank". I'm like yeah, you're name is Frank alright
