Al Bore has been making money off of his crying wolf and lots of enviros have been predicting calamity, etc. but I want to know, where did the global warming go? This has probably been the mildest CA summer that I can recall and it appears that many other parts of the country are getting lots of rain (another troublesome sign against global warming). Is anybody else seeing all the global warming occurring in their neighborhood???

ive seen 3 days worth of global warming with hail and between 4-5 hours of rain each day. Actually rained for 2 hours today just as i got outside to set up some targets to shoot[:@]
Global warming is still around. The current warming trend started a very long time ago. Before Al was born, so he can't take credit for inventing it. Funny thing is, the most dangerous result for humans is not planetary heat, that never lasts very long. Al talks about how bad it will be when greenland melts, or antarctica, but he forgets about the influx of moisture into the heated air. When that happens, things start cooling off again, really fast. I mean really, really fast. He keeps pointing at that red line that keeps going up, but he forgets it goes back down way faster than it went up. If it takes 500 years to heat the earth to the tipping point, it could take less than 20 for things to start freezing up once the process is started. It is a cycle this world has been going through for ages. Do we make it worse, or speed it up? Who knows? But I don't think we can do anything about it.
It's nice and cool here in Maryland this morning for a summer day.
Another question is where are all the hurricanes that were once again forecasted for this year? I realize hurricane season is far from over, but for a supposedly busy season, shouldn't we have had a few form by now?
Our low temperature here in northern Tennessee was about 52 this morning. That's the coolest I can EVER remember it being in late July. We've had days with above normal temperatures this summer, but we've also had many days of below normal temperatures . . . this after we came out of a winter that saw the coldest stretch of temperatures in about 20 years.

I hope you all are wrong about Global warming because I want an ocean front home but I don't want to move from my current location to get it.[8D]
