Sorry if this is a broken record, but our senators need to hear a broken record on this! 800-417-7666 will get you right into the senator's offices, PLEASE call & tell them NO for cloture on the illegal alien amnesty bill - let them know that we need real enforcement of our laws already on the books for 10-20 years & then see if any "comprehensive reform" is needed.
The biggest problem with this bill is not the amnesty part, though that is a big problem. IMHO, the biggest part is enforcement. We have not had enforcement of any of the immigration, border security, or employment laws that are already on the books & sufficient to fix the problem. We have to bombard the senators offices with calls to enforce the laws we have; we've already been hoodwinked twice with "comprehensive reform" & nothing has been enforced. Passing this bill would lead to no enforcement - we've gone that route & see that will be the case. We need a change in attitude on this issue from our elected representatives, & that change in attitude comes from the ground up - from us!
