Whaddya think? I don't know his voting record... too far from me. But what I have heard from sound clips I like. Anyone in the know? What's the scoop? Don't know his postion on Right to Bear.

I like him because he appears to be a straight shooter but who knows what will turn up when and if he decideds to run. I don't care for any of the other GOP candidates all that much so I have hopes that he will be the one I vote for. He needs to run and enter the debates to see how he measures up before I will decide.

I like Fred Thompson, he sounds good, and he's from Tennessee, although I'm not sure if he was born here, so far, there hasn't been a TN born president, Andrew Jackson was born in South Carolina.
