11 dastardly Democrats voted against cloture. 7 Republican RINOS voted for cloture.

What I don't understand is what our elected officials don't understand about "ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS"?

Whats not to understand?

The operative word here is "ILLEGAL".....

Those of us who called our senators made the difference here. Now is not the time to stop, let's keep calling them & make the "polite request" that the laws be enforced. As said "ILLEGAL" is the operative word, shouldn't be that hard to understand...

The idea of the polititions is, if its hard to curb illegal activity, fix the problem by making it legal.[:@]

Thats some of the problem.......

I say, "Make the term of officeONE TERM".

Those old #@!$#@ get in office and they become "Complacent". (being polite) Then they get to retire (at there full wage....) They voted for that. They don't even pay Social Security..... No wonder they don't care if it gets fixed......

Saw Senator Kyl of Arizona with the Lady Killer on TV the other day. Kyl claims that Republican holdouts can be placated by the passage of a few minor amendments to the bill.Kyl, MCCain,Lindsay Graham and especially Kennedy make make me puke. Watch for this to come up again, maybe soon.

Proud of my WV democrats, I guess this is one time that it's good they're guaranteed a win.

I'm all for compromise on this issue, but I think this time it compromised way too much for the law breakers. Why should people who have been here for a whole 6 months get to have amnesty. Is it not very feaseable to kick all of them out, but they should have had to been here for atleast 5-10 years before we really consider them as helping out the country.
