Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

That article seems to insinuate (even stronger than some others) that he is going to run...which is a good thing in my opinion. Laziness is all relative...I'm thinking that he can at least get off the couch, I bet. I think, as has been pointed out in other threads, that his (like any other congressman's) voting record will be a detriment. His backbone, and honesty (if any) will determine how large of a detriment. I hope he is not a disappointment, because right now, he seems like a ray of hope in this election.

Assuming that Thompson is lazy, then it is a fact thet we need more lazy politicians in DC. We do not need any moreinsane laws to make guns illegal andillegals legal: We need to force congress and the white house to enforce the laws on the books.

I can put up with lazy but corrupt is another thing. Time to get the criminals out of Congress. Just as a thought.... I wonder how many of them are totally honest and have the country 's interest at heart in everything they do?

I would venture to say that bottom line likely none of them really cares, more concerned with the accolades of being a congress man/woman.

I would like Fred to enter the race so he can go up against all the other candidates in televised debates. Many are viewing him as the savior of the party without really knowing much about him. So far I like what I hear on the few times I have seen him interviewed but he really needs to enter the race and put himself out there. All this waiting in the wings for the best time to enter will hurt him in the end. The best time to enter is right now and if he is that good then he will have more time to win the vote. Same thing for Gore. If he secretly plans to run he better do so now. Al, Fred....if you are reading this then take my advice. You will be better off for it.

I'll bet I'm lazier than he is and would make an evenbetter president. I'm just not "constitutionally eligible" yet. [&:]
