Default I Did Stay in a Motel 6 Last Night

We had another border security debacle the other day. Seems like the guy with drug resistant TB drove to Canada, got on a plane and went to Great Britain to get married. He was on a no fly list. Despite that his plane landed in Canada, where he was not stopped, and he calmly drove across the US border.

At the border was a flashing computer screen withthe guys picture anda warning not to let the guy into the US blinking about every 30 seconds. He drove up to the border flashed his passport and was allowed to enter the US. The guard knew there was an order not to allow the guy into the US. The guard let him enter the US anyway. The guards'excuse: "He did not look sick."

I'm no medical doctor but i did stay in a Motel 6 last night.

Hope there will never be a day when the reallyserious excuse comes: "What do you mean i let a flagged terrorist into the US." "He blew up what?" "Yes, I let him in. He did not look like an Arab to me."

Oh, Homeland Security, you got some seriousxplainin to do. Ms Pelosi will be on this one like a tramp on a pan of hot buttered cornbread and a glass of milk.TheDemocratswill milk this one to death.

He should have known there was better health care in Europe. It's free.

They have been airing interviews with this guy. He is a real tool. Even though he knows that he was on the no-fly list, his justification is that the CDC told him that he wasn't a real danger. In fact, he has claimed that the CDC lied to him. Even if they did, if you are on a no-fly list, your ass stays on the ground. They need to lock this assclown up with the other TB guy in Arizona who has also demonstrated total lack of responsibility.

I wouldn't get to worked up about this. The media is blowing this way out of proportion. The CDC in Colorado (I think that's were he is) said he wasn't contagous or in a contagous state. This just makes sunsational news and sells commercial time.

As far as the no fly list. That was the US list not Canada I think.

Perhaps it is ironic that this guy is a personal injury lawyer. Looks like his personal fortune will be greatly injured before all this is settled.

I seriously doubt it Falcon. The news is trying to whip this up into way more of a story then it is because they can make money. What I luagh about is they say he could be sued or charged with intentionally spreading fear (something like that they were repoting) in the public. When will the TV networks get brought up on charges.

Lot's of he said/she said going on between this guy and the CDC, but it sounds like it is a bit more than just media hype.

What most people don't seem to realize is that in a nation of 300,000,000 people, there's bound to be some very sick, very contagious people spreading something around somewhere. The moral of the story is to wash, sanitize (within reason), and don't ever take your health for granted just because we're in the good US of A.

Well, in an ideal world we would be responsible for our own behavior, especially when it is reckless and endangers others. But, that is getting more and more rare.
