Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Bush anounced today that Osama was linked to Iraq

Im in the middle of tearing apart my lab, so I have not had a chance to look it up. On the morning news, they just anounced that a link and evidence of Osama building a training camp in Iraq before the war. Zarqawi was building it with Osamas blessing and money. Like I said, I just heard it on the Morning news and have not had a chance to look it up. If this proves true, it could really throw a monkey wrench in the hate Bush camp. NOt for me, I started disliking him as our governer.

Doesn't appear to be before the war.

WASHINGTON - President Bush, trying to defend his war strategy, declassified intelligence Tuesday asserting that Osama bin Laden ordered a top lieutenant in early 2005 to form a terrorist cell that would conduct attacks outside Iraq - and that the United States should be the top target.

The information mirrored a classified bulletin from the Homeland Security Department in March 2005, reporting that bin Laden had enlisted Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, his senior operative in Iraq, to plan potential strikes in the U.S. The warning was described at the time as credible but not specific and did not prompt the administration to raise its national terror alert level.

The declassification of the intelligence came a day before Bush was scheduled to speak about terrorism at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.

I think Zarqawi was a foreign fighter who only swore allegiance to Al Qeada after our invasion. Basically a terrorist created as a result of our actions in Iraq. Iraq had no Al Qeada presence before we invaded, Saddam didn't get along with them, he wanted to maintain his secular dictatorship at all costs, a very important detail thet gets overlooked these days with all the revisionism.

Not a slam at you burnie, but this only backs up what I've said all along - we're creating more terrorists than we kill, and in places they never were before.

Invading Iraq is one of the worst foreign policy blunders in US History. It destroyed US credibility worldwide, divided our allies, divided our nation, created more terrorist recruits for Al Qeada, devastated the Iraqi people, murdered 3000+ of our precious soldiers and de-stabilized the entire mid-east.

We'll be lucky if we break even - and that will be heralded as a gigantic success if we do and I'll be the first to cheer in the parade to celebrate it.

Just thinking out loud burnie, again, not aimed at you or anyone in particular.
Sorry Ifferd but your very wrong. Zaqawi was in Irag before our invasion. Infact he was wounded in afganistan and fled to Iraq for medical treatment. This has been established. There was also another Al Qeada, I forget the name, who committed suicide when we were preasuring Sadam to hand him over. Somehow he shot himself 20 to 30 times before he died.
My last question I have to ask you, if Al Qeada is all over the world in a bunch of countries, why would you think they weren't in Iraq?
We're not creating anymore terrorist we're just finally on the offensive with this. I see it as two choices, you can go back to the dem's solution and try to bring them to our shores, bring them into our courts, pay for their ACLU lawyers. Or you can hunt them done where they are and kill them.
We are prosecuting the most succesful war in our history. Yes troops die in the battle but it won't be over for many years. We need to continue to kill more of them until they give up. We have become very soft as Osama has said. We lose 3300 troops and you yellow bellies are ready to surrender. How come we don't here the body count of the enemy? Maybe it's because the libs truely do want us to loose. I say take this war up a notch and lets go after their backers. The only way you win a war is break the spirit of the enemy and the CBS, NBC and ABC's of the world are trying to do just that to us.
