Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default House Rejects Democratic Plan

WASHINGTON"” Democratic congressional leaders appeared to blink Friday in presenting the White House with a war funding proposal that did away with billions of dollars in domestic spending opposed by the administration, but President Bush's aides quickly rejected the offer on the grounds that it contained yet another timetable for withdrawing U.S. troops from Iraq.

Unable to override the veto, Democrats have been trying to find a way to pass a new bill by Memorial Day that funds the troops but still challenges Bush's Iraq policy.

Go Bush Go
Go Bush GO!

All Hail GW the Great Decider !

If this keeps up with the vetos, Where is the money going to come from? Besides that over 3 billion$ a day is being borrowed for this war. When are the countries that are lending us this money going to say thats it, No more. They see the mess we are in fiancially and they are goanna have to call it quit eventually. Why should the people who don't want this war have to help pay for it? I say those who want to keep fighting this war pay 3 to 4 more taxes. This should shut the war mongers up.

I am a democrat and proud of it!!!!! I also believe we need to support the troops but, not on the terms most want here. If Iraq or any other country came here, killed our president, and started dictating to us would you be willing to fight them? I know I would! It is time to let the people of Iraq havethier country back. Most of the killing there is on each other as they need to be able to run it without outside beliefs.

$3 billion a day, huh? LOL. Why don't you just pull a figure out of your rearend. I mean, if you're going to make one up, make it good . . . say we're borrowing $10 or $15 billion a day or $30 billion a day.

Bush de-funded the troops with his veto. The money was passed, appropriated, and ready to spend, and he declined, depriving the troops of much needed funds.
Thanks, Ifferd. I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time. You can spin better than Rush Limbaugh and Michael Moore and James Carville combined.
