Hadn't heard that one--and he was sounding fairly decent to me. Oh well....another one bites the dust. If something doesn't change before '08, this may be the sorriest bunch of choices we've had in my lifetime.

It does not surprise me. A couple of weeks back or so, I posted a snipit indicating that Romney claimed to have been a life-long hunter, but in reality only hunted like twice in his life and many years ago. Another politician blowing smoke and talking BS.
I wouldn't doubt it.... There was always something about Mitt Romney that didn't sit with me well. He is your standard, garden variety, flip-flopper. Do anything, say anything, to get votes. [:'(]
The coolest guy (besides Fred Thompson) who I have read about is that Gov. from Arkansas, Mike Huckabee. You want 2nd Amendment?!? Huckabee is a duck hunter, a deer hunter, a fellow outdoorsman, and also holds a CWP for Arkansas! Very cool, in my book.... Very cool... [8D]

I believe that is because Romney is not known as a hunter or a firearms advocate. In otherwords, not one of us. Zumbo, of Remington arms, was one of us. So with him, it was a betrayal.
