Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Republican debate (last night on Fox)

Did anyone catch the Republican debate last night? I watched bits and pieces of it. It gets too boring to watch, sitting there glued to it.

The best part was the hilarious slam that Gov. Mike Huckabee (AR) said about John Edwards (aka The Breck Girl)...

"Congress has spent money like John Edwards at a beauty shop" - a slam on the Democratic presidential candidate who earned unwanted scrutiny for spending $400 of campaign money on a haircut. (as per Foxnews website).

I don't know about you, but these two guys stood out and scored points last night: Dr. Ron Paul (TX) and Gov. Mike Huckabee (AR). The more and more I read up on stuff, the more this guy Mike Huckabee sounds like he knows what he's talking about. He's a duck hunter and deer hunter and even holds a CWP in Arkansas. Very cool, in my book.... [8D]

I too caught them off and on. Huckabee was on. Rudy was also hitting on all cylinders. Romney ran out of bullets from shooting himself in the foot by lacking reasons for all his flip flops. McCain did not have his best showing . Kinda distant.

What debate was you watching? Huck was allright rudy the cross dresser was way off. Ron Paul kicked butt again. He told the truth to the American people. Rudy looked like a fool for not reading the 911 report. How can a mayor of a city get attacked and not read the 911 report that states that our involvement in the middle east contributed to 911? Rudy for torture of prisoners? WTF is this country becomming. Without doubt, Ron Paul won that debate again. Why in the world would they slander that man on MSM? He is pro constitution. If anyone is less than that in our country I will have to ask if they are true Americans or if they are just here for a free ride. My God, This country and blood was spilled for the constitution and freedoms we all had.And I can't believe that people are trying to slander Ron Paul for his belief and obiedience to the constitution. I just hope when election time comes many people remember what this countries men went thru for the constitution. What would we be if no one fought for it? Can only imagine if any of us would actually be here to say the things we say without persucution.

Like I said, I caught it off and on. What I saw was Rudy taking a strong stance and squelching the notion that we caused 911 from our involvement in the middle east thoughout the years. I did not catch all of it, but what I did catch, I posted accordingly.

Yes, I was just saying. Look at how fox tries to put words in this mans mouth towards the end? What happen to foxs slogan we report you decide? They are trying to discredit this man and put words in his mouth. wolf does the same thing to Ron. They try to trap him. Ron is not one of their show ponies and not in their pockets. It's a shame the news does this. They are all working for the neo cons for a one world government. They are now trying to get him out of the debates. Whats so fair about that? What happen to free speech? About parties? The world is not black and white.

I can not get youtube, but Im going to make it a point to keep an eye on what you mentioned. We have some time before the primaries, that is why i have been following ratherloosely. I think there will be a few more put their hats in the ring, so it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

As usual Bernie you have a great perspective on events and a funny way to talk about it. McCain is an old man and starting to lose it. I guess he dropped an F bomb yesterday on the senate floor while having a heated exchange during a debate over the new illegal legislation which he helped write. Huck is gaining more points on my tally sheet. Ron Paul has some great ideas and seems to think along some of the lines I follow but his Libertarian status will limit his ability to fight the system and win the primary. Fred....where are you and are you going to run. I guess his strategy is to allow all the idiots to self destruct then wade in there as a savior to the party.
