Clearly it's time for Gingrich and Fred Thompson to step up. I've had enough of the preliminary bouts. It's time to bring in the heavyweights.
And, just FYI... They're FAR wackier on the left (and I don't mean that ina nice way).
I don't disagree at all the the lefties are wachier yet. I guess I would just like my candidates to be serious and not waste time cracking jokes and taking BS shots at another candidate and simply put out what they believe, support and will do. Too much of a media side-show for me to even want to watch.
Relying on Newsweek, especially Holly Bailey, to provide quality, fair insight on a Republican presidential debate is just about like relying on the National Review to provide quality, fair insight on a Democratic presidential debate.

I would vote for a Thompson/Gingrich or a Gingrich/Thompson ticket in a heartbeat. The only thing thast would make that ticketeven betterwould be if they could add "B-1" Bob Dornan to it.
