Liberty Tree

Liberty Trees were gathering spots where American colonists met and plotted revolution from the British. They were found throughout the colonies.

"Under this tree, information was shared, resolutions made, and the seeds of revolution sewn . . ."

Governor of Maryland

Hard to believe that there were only 4400 deaths in the Revolutionary war considering the number of battles over an 8 year period. I know that the American population was only a few million and there were far, far fewer troops compared to subsequent conflicts. But, hell that's only 500 plus deaths a year.
