I know that the majority of this forum will probably vote Republican. But if you were voting Democrat, which candidate, out of the entire field, would you support? And, which candidate out of the supposed front-runners (Clinton, Obama, Edwards) would you support?
Personally, I like Richardson. I could probably even vote for him over a Republican like Giuliani, though I'd have to learn more about him.
As for the front-runners, I'd have to hold my nose to support any of them, but I like Obama above the rest.

I am not going to follow these campaigns until the parties have made their nominations. All the rest of the run-up to that point is so much frou-frou, in my opinion. I especially feel this way about getting sucked into this mind numbing, emotion draining process so much earlier than usual. In the past it didn't seem like you heard much about presidential campaigning until the first primary in NH.

RE: Which Democratic candidate?
I think Obama is pretty charismatic but I think he is too new to politics and inexperienced in foreign affairs to run the country. I didn't particularly like the way he handled the Imus issue. I have a feeling if elected you would see a racial agenda come out...but that remains to be seen.

I voted for Edwards in the last primary, and I'll be backing him again. He and I are almost perfectly aligned on every issue on the platform.
Super guy too, came from nothing (dad was a millhunkie), worked his ass off for what he has and never forgot where he came from. The guy has been through enough (grew up dirt poor, saw his own child die, now watching his wife battle cancer)that his ego won't get the best of him. Those are the kind of life experiences that put somemoxy in your veins.
I'd welcome a blue-collar guy to the whitehouse over the silverspoon trustfunders that have been in there for the past... well... god knows how long.

Somehow most of that rings hollow when you hear the guy spends $400+ forhis haircuts...
