Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Great post AP. Really makes you think about what lifecould be like for all of us after 08. Right now I am pretty high on Fred Thompson and I hope he throws his hat into the ring. What we don't need in 08 is another professional politician.

While I agree with you for once that either of those pairings would be a sign of the end of days, the other side options are nearly as horrible. Time for a third party with some real candidates.

When Ronald Reagan first ran for President, I thought " But he's just an actor!" Turned out to be one of the best Presidents this country ever had.
I'm now beginning to think that if Fred Thompson is up to it, he MAY be the best shot the Republicans have. The rest of the candidates that have surfaced so far, in my opinion, stand little or no chance against the goons pictured above. That is sad.

Actually, if the dummycraps ran any of the above combos they would be guaranteeing a GOP win, not even hardcore libbys(other than the truly insane ones) would vote for those tools in those combinations.

Much ado is made about our presidents, but this is just one branch of government. Even Hillary as president has a limited capacity to do us harm if the other branches of government are sound. One of the scariest things is Hillary nominating supreme court justices. Don't forget the pain that Democrat inflicted upon the supreme court nomination process even with their minority Senate status. Hopefully a Republican senate minority has studied the behavior of that Democratic senate minority well and is not afraid to learn from them, so that maybe even Hillary would not be able to nominate a couple of super liberal supreme court justices.

Our foreign policy would likely suffer under a Democratic president; it usually has during my lifetime (JFK [though the Cuban Missile Crisis was magesterially handled], LBJ, Jimmy "the powder puff" Carter, Billy Bob Clinton). On the other hand, let's consider that our current foreign policy executive GW Bush has not been resoundingly successful in his foreign policy activities, I will frankly acknowledge.

You provided your own answer and arguing point. Good job.
