They are all pretty much like that. Is his country of origin that newsworthy? He was legal, and lived in the US since young childhood. His personal national identity probably was American. Other reports are that he was "troubled" and took depression medication. Isn't that more important?
Is the media stirring up race wars in our country? Do they think the market demands this?
If he were illegal, and this incident contributed to the illegal immigration debate, then OK. If he were a jihadist, then OK. But by all reports, race, national origin has nothing to do with it, yet it's in all the headlines now.
