Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

this country is in alot of trouble, and it has nothing to do with the gun laws. mabe we should make more laws against the violent video games that this kid played for the last 15 years, because he obviously felt nothing killing all his fellow class mates. he isdead now so we will never know why he did it, the anti-gun croud will tell us the usual. fact is the school already had laws prohibiting guns on school grounds so what good will more gun laws do ? god help us all

This was a senseless tragedy that every gun owner and hunter in the US will end up paying for. I will buy a gun today just in case I can't tomorrow.

So much for gun laws. He was not a U.S. citizen and had no legal right to own a gun or even ammo. Chinese exchange student. So what law would have stopped this?

This isn't a gun issue about the shooting. The dumbass police had a shooting at 7:00 am and no suspect could be found. Then instead of doing a evacuation they dropped the ball and did nothing just like columbine. Two hours later the shooter kills 30 people at one time. And it all could of been prevented or atleast by evacuations made the shooter less opportunities of people in private places.

I had a sheriff once tell me that if there was a gun battle going on inside a house or building. They would wait till it was over and then go in a sort it out. What kind of *****'s do we have out there for law enforcement today. Mostly politically correct posers that pick on easy petty criminals that won't cause problems.

I feel sorry for the parents of the kids. And giving up gun rights won't cure problems. But I'm sure seeing how the parents would feel about them right now.

After further info has came out, It was legal for him to buy the guns. He was a legal alien. He had a receipt for the guns in his back pack. I am not sure what all the laws are in that state but its clear that more laws would not have made any difference. It already illegal to have guns on campus and of course there is already a law against murder no matter how its committed. It does look like the school should have been locked down much sooner and that would have probably saved most of the other students.

Comming home last night with my 12 year old we were listening to some way out liberal telling us that its all because of gun laws and the NRA and when will we learn.....(psycho babble)....

My son who is a good shot with pistol and appreciates the CC rights we enjoy, said " Dad - she is nuts, if it was me in the school I would have had by hand gun with me and I would have protected all those people from that crook... "

Nice to hear that kids have a good handle on what are the problems with these wackos both either shooting up our streets or using the media to kill our rights.
