I read about this yesterday on CNN, Bush has already vowed to veto it again. I support that decision by Bush since tax funds shouldn't be used for such a purpose, especially when there's more than enough interest in funding it from the private sector.

I don't like the idea of the feds funding scientific research, but then again, I can think of a lot less worthy projects (Bridge to Nowhere anyone?) that have gotten funding before. Stem cell research show more promise than a lot of other activities Washington has involved itself in.
