Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Al Qaeda attacks in Iraq, where is democrat support now?

Democrats have for years been saying it was ok to go after Al Qaeda, since they were behind 9/11. So where is their support for the war in Iraq and troop surge now that we are hearing of all these Al Qaeda attacks in Iraq? Do they really support going after Al Qaeda, or just want us to lose the war for political gain?

Well, I guess you might see a small new group of supporters from the Dems. Since the ACTUAL, REAL enemy is there now. Had to know it was coming sometime or another. Just shouldn't have took 4 years now.

To those people the simple fact that we (the infidels) are simply setting foot on their "homeland" is a royal slap in the face. They have and will continue to travel far and wide to attack us there b/c of that simple fact. Kinda like someone walking up on your front porch and spitting in your face.

BTW, I am officially Independent now. Though technically still Dem on paper. That will change though.

I am a Dem and will always support our troops but not for the reason the Bush party put us there ! For as far as Al Qaeda goes we have been after them and still need to keep it up. For as far as changing to an Independent goes to each his own! I know,I wouldn't for the simple reason they have been pushing the Green Party up here so that we can become a great park ! There is no way in heck could I consider an Independent after some of the things they tried up here.

Don't get too excited there Ip. I've only been enough Dem to say I was one. And rest assured, I ain't going to the "other" side.

Both parties are really making me sick anymore. It's pitiful. [&o]

I'm not going to disagree with you there. I hope Fred Thompson steps up.

I'm not aBush republican myself. He's way too liberal on spending and immigration.

I see the situation more as someone walking up to your front porch and spitting in your Al Qaeda face, AFTER YOU BOMBED THEIR RELATIVES HOUSE, KILLING ALL INSIDE.

But Doug, we all know that al Qaeda resides, plans, and carries out their attacks from Afghanistan (or is it Pakistan now?), and Afghanistan only! Those wannabes in Iraq who swear allegiance to bin Laden are just an illusion and should be ignored! Bush lied, people died! Kerry/Edwards 2008, yay!!!

Ugh...

To go and destroy a whole modernized country is not very bright. What was wrong with Afghanastan? Why couldn't of we stayed there and fought them? Instead we destroy the lifes of millions of people that will take forever to rebuild. Open your eyes to see what is going on in this world. Take your blinders off. Let your mind think on it's own for a change. Everything is programmed into us from birth. We was born with a gift to think and add things up and come to a conclusion on our own.

I do believe in war for when it is justified.

Could have something to do with al Qaeda being an international group, with supporters and officers in dozens of countries around the world. You want to talk about blinders? How about believing that terrorists are limited to one country?
