It will hurt all of those areas, IMHO. There are a lot of people who join because of the college money and have absolutely no interest in serving their country during a war. Cracks me up to hear these people saying they didn't join up for this. What did they think the military is for? If they are really in the dark that much, they were given some really bad info.
Desert Storm should have cleared things up in terms of the notion that joining the regular military, reserves, or guard for college money and other benefit won't involve some risk.
As for tours of duty, my opinion doesn't matter, but I think that anything beyond a single 12 month combat tour should be entirely voluntary.

What a horendous mess. This is uncalled for to ask this much of our soldiers.
Just bring them home, all of them. If this war called for justice, There would be no problem with recruits. What justice did we doby attacking iraq?
When you signed that contract it was with a clear understanding of both the risks and the responsibilities, having your tour extended during a declared war was one of the risks. I have no problem with it.

Well, there are millions of Kurds in northern Iraq who would probably argue that the U.S. attack on Iraq was justice, and brought justice for them. I'm sure that you could google up a Kurdish website and argue that point with them, if you feel so inclined.

I think that if you volunteer, you do what you're told to do until the end of your contract.
This might hurt recruiting and retention, but the Pentagon will probably offer more bonuses to counter the effect. It's worked fairly well so far in that regard.
It will definatley hurt recruiting. Its alot to ask for people with families. I believe it should been on bonus basis that is volunteered. My father desired to stay in Vietnam for well over the required time, He like the battle pay, and who knows why he stayed. He died due to that war.
