Default "Pocket"pitbulls anyone?

Would you like to supersize that dachshund?

The recent discovery of a size influencing sequence in the genetic code of dogs seems to explain the wide variation in size between breeds, and even within the breed itself. How long befoe Cujo is shrunk to a harmless but amusing ankle nipper? How long before they find a similar sequence in humans? What if they do?

Your thoughts?

I am sure that when and if they will be able to "tailor make" a dog to the wants of an individual you will have plenty of folks paying for it. I think that when it comes to humans, programming the height of a person, should not occur.

I've always wanted a dog that is big enough to ride. Can you imagine that? Man's best friend, carrying you along the trail in search of adventure...

If the two of you ever get stuck in a survival situation you'll wish he was a horse instead...

i'd love a mini pitbull, that would be awesome. It gets hard lugging my 71lb moose around.

Lol. I can relate. I had a pit years ago that was 70lbs. She was a chunk.
