Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default O'Reilly versus Geraldo

On the issue of that drunk driverillegal immigrant who killed those two girls in Virginia. O'Reilly points out that he was arrested several times before, and that had he been deported for being illegal and committing crimes, those girls would be alive today. Geraldo says that this is a drunk driving issue, and not an illegal immigration issue, and said criticized O'Reilly for making a "cheap political point." I think O'Reilly is right.

What say you?

I have zero respect for O'Reilly and even less (far, far less) for Geraldo (who is probably the biggest slimebag in journalism).

But O'Reilly is right on target.

They both lost their cool, but O'Reilly wins this one hands down. Geraldo has that Latinheritage (PuertoRican) so naturally he comes up with some delusional idea to justify his ridiculous opinion on the issue"¦.

Geraldo is another example of someone who wants to paint being anti-illegal immigrant as equating to being anti-hispanic. Its not the same thing unless you occupy one of the extreme fringes of either side of the debate.

I've only saw a little bit on the news and heard a bit on the radio, but based on that I'd say O'Reily was dead on. Geraldo wanted to make it out to be a race thing--my bet is if the nationality of the illegal had been different or if it had been his kids that were murdered bythe drunkhis opinion would have been differentalso.

Never cared for Geraldo, don't much care for O'Reily either. They both looked like idiots in the screaming match. Someone should remind them that being the loudest doesn't mean you are right.

Both are clowns, and it doesn't matter that O'Rielly was right this time, there are innumerable cases of multiple drunk driving offenders of all races killing people every year. The real problem is multiple idiots driving drunk and not getting penalized severely enough to keep them from killing others. In El Salvador drunk driving will get you shot on sight for a first offense, a bit severe perhaps but...
