And kill more US citizens in one year than we've lost in Iraq in the four years since we went in.

All true and its sad. What is interesting though is the fact many businesses pay NO taxes and so do not share in paying for all the free stuff the illegals get.

"illegal immigrant" says it all, all that needs to be said. It mattereth not whether the illegal is of Mexican origin, Canadian origin, Chinese origin, or what have you. Throw the illegals out, into the bloody ocean without a boat and without paying for their lunch. It is of no concern to me how they got here or where they are going beyond my borders, just get the he11 out. And I do not care a lick for the sad story "but, but, but . . . whoze gunna do tha work, man?!!! We won't get no work done! We'll all have to live in a cardboard box down by the river cuz we wone be able to afford to build houzez!!!" That is crap. The work will get done. Ditto with the H1B visa. The work will get done. Maybe some of the engineers who took jobs as managers at Home Depot can reenter the engineering workforce when engineers can't be hired from India for $45,000 salaries and worked 80 hours per week in sweatshops. Maybe we'll have to pay $0.10 more for our copy of Windows from Microsoft; maybe we'll have to pay $2.00 more for our WiFi device on our laptops. I don't think that means the sky is going to fall.

He does make some valid points. There's no such thing as a free lunch and cheap labor really does have many hidden costs that we as taxpayers are paying for.

I run the science dept at a title 1 school, and this post is right on.

I read just today that illegals get on an average $45,000 of government assistance, yet generateand average of $9,000 tax.Welcome to America, that would be the U.S.S.A (united, socialist states of america). Strap it on, when the demos 400 billion tax hike hits its going to hurt.
