The big news here is that a bunch of neo-nazis is coming to Cincinnati to stage a march, that includes calling for the deportation of all non-whites and other undesirable racial types. These clowns intend to focus their march on the Over-the-Rhine district which is black gangbanger paradise. Hell, i wouldn't even drive thru that area with my doors locked and my colt sitting on the dash, let alone walk thru there wearing a Swastika. It will probably turn out to be a dozen or so pot bellied white guys in uniforms surrounded by twice as many cops to keep them from getting turned into whimpering piles of goo.
This time I'm cheering for the crackheads

I"m of ***anese descent, the kind of person this hate is directed against. It makes me sick to my stomach. It also scares me. I believe in freedom of speech but these people are criminals as far as I'm concerned.

I heard Jesus He drank wine and I bet we'd get along just fine.
I heard an interview with the organizer of this rally. They are advocating the rise of a Nazi regime here in the U.S. that would include the forced deporation of American citizens. Kind of a fine line between free speech and seeking to incit violence and suppression of civil rights, one would think.

Didn't some skinhead group pull a stunt like this a couple summers ago in that area? A neighborhood bar was burned down, and dozens of cars and homes vandalized in the riotous aftermath. Of course, the police were the ones who actually kept those punks alive through the ordeal.
I don't necessarily see a problem with nationalism as a political doctrine, but as soon as you dehumanizing your fellow countrymen on racial, religious, or counter-political grounds, you've gone off the deep end. There are a lot of manipulative failures in life running the show, and a bunch of ignorant kids doing the gruntwork. They see themselves in a power struggle at all levels--can't win the White House because of socialist forces; can't corner the drug, gun, and prostitution market because of inner-city competition. They're thugs, plain and simple.
They have their rights to free speech just like anyone else. I just consider the source and ignore it, I'm sure like 99.99% of the remainder of the population does.

Latest word is that the group is now threatening to sue the city of Cincy, since they want to change their route somewhat. I say, hell no, let 'em march right thru the heart of Over-the-Rhine, but I think that the police escort is needed eslewhere.

That same group was in Missouri a couple of weeksagoand everything went really smoothly. They marched, people watched, and then everybody went home. The police ended up arresting more specators than people actually marching in the parade.
As long as most people simply ignore it, nothing too dramatic will happen. I'm not trying to downplay the error in their beliefs or the significance of their event but they just want to rile people up. You just can't let it get to you.
