Default 344,000 us servicemen died in WWII in 4 years of combat.

Hi;
I just like to say my father was a infantryman in WWII and while attending class I learned 344,000 us servicemen gave their life to rid the world of hitler. Our troops are doing their part, I know cause I have been there and retired 8 years ago from the us army. Please dont allow any lawmakers to withold aid to our troops.

I am sorry but I have run out of money. If the so called enemy wants to come over here and kill me then let it be. I candefend myselfcheaper with a gun and box of shells. And more effiecent also. I say not one more red cent to be spent on that war.Looks like they will have to lay off the troops and bring them home. The government has waisted enough money that slept thru the holes. This american says no more. I will support these law makers.

I just returned from DC after a visit to many of the monuments and attractions. Two places that I visited were the WW2 Memorial and the Vietnam War Memorial/ Wall. Seeing the names on the Wall was sobering. The grief that those thousands of names meant to the families all across the country is immeasurable. I found the names of two friends and classmates who didn"™t get to enjoy life long after graduation. I am not in favor of this Iraq War but pulling the funding IMO is wrong. It has become a political war and needs to end. As long as the troops are there they need as much support both emotionally and monetarily as possible. Pulling funding will probably result in an escalated withdrawal but would certainly put the remaining troops in harm's way. All politicians must work together without partisanship and get them home. They need to do this in a way that doesn't divide the country and push Iraq into a total civil war. Bush has about a year and a half to roll up his sleeves and work with both sides of the isle to achieve and end and bring the country back together. If he can"™t accomplish this he will go down as the worst president in history. We know we need to get out of Iraq and we know that as soon as we leave things could slide back to where they were before we invaded. We can only do so much to promote a democratic government there. The reality is that we shouldn't have gone there in the first place. Now that we are there we need to complete our job as quickly as possible and then come home. Ultimately it will be the government and people of Iraq who determine what type of life they will lead and the form of government that willcontrol them. IMO that end will be the same whether we stay until this summer and leave or are still there in 10 years. The only difference will be more lives will be lost and more of our money spent.

Absolutely.Denying funds for the Iraq war is thevery worst thing that could ever happen to this country. We cannot just up and pull out of Iraq en masse. There is no easy way out of this war. Some of theidiots in congress who voted to invade Iraq now want to abandon the place to civil war, anarchy and invasion by Iran and Syria.

If they can muster the votes to demand that the troops be withdrawn immediately, then so be it. But doing things half-assed in a manner that weakens the troops and opens them up to more casualities over an extended period is bull.

Watch the video. The enemy is our own. Just think each time you fly with a pilot after you watch this. You will think they are coots because they don't know what they are talking about. What I find is the right is more afraid of getting attacked and killed than the left. I guess the left is alot braver than the rights. Again watch this video and just think, You could be flying with one of these uneducated pilots who don't know what they are talking about. If your not afraid to do so?
