Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

i learned that the best way to make your kids lose interest in going to church is to let them go.

my 9 year old was on me all the time to go to church....until i sent her to vacation bible school for a week.

she never wanted to go again....too much praying, she said.

And if theis kid was a "Church of Satan" member, being sponsored by the ACLU and had won the victory allowing the kid to distribute satanic materials attmepting to convert kids to Devil Worship on the school's dime, there'd likely be outrage on this board on how unjust and unfair the ruling was and how the courts/schools/society are "attacking our values", and outrage about how this "never should have happened"

LOL

The double standard smells foul.
you'll get no argument from me.

Back up a minute, bong hits for Jesus was unacceptable because it violated school rules. Distributing religous literature in the school against school policy is acceptable and just using your freedom of speech.Maybe its me but I fail to see the difference.

As a side note when I was in school if one my classmates had started pushing religion on us Im almost sure he woulda wound up with his ass kicked by the end of the day.

You got it...

And what really gets me is that both cases involve kids doing something for Jesus!
