Spring is here, the birds are returning from their winter migrations, its shed-hunting season, the water is getting soft again and the fish are hungry and moving shallow, turkey season is just around the corner, I can shoot my bow in the backyard again, the snow and ice and foul north winds will soon be a fuzzy fading memory, and best of all my boat is calling me, singing it's Siren's Song once again...

Lets not wish our great winter season over just yet. The best ice fishing of the year is just about here. Give me another 3 weeks then let it be spring with all the trappings.

Yes it counts and when you break it down you were indeed fishing and there was ice involved. Difference is that I walk on mine but then again so could you. I hope you pull the beer out first though.

Im already dreading it. It was 85 degrees yesterday. Its 75 right now. I sweat my butt of last week hog hunting so I went skiing.[:@][:@]
