Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default President Bush Standing Firm

I love the way President Bush stood tall Yesterday and let the Libs know in no uncertain terms there will be NO CIRCUS like hearings about the the firings of those state attorneys.
He went as far as toallow some members of his administration to be interviewed, whichI think was above and beyond what he owes the democratic senate.
He simply exercised his right as President! Where was the outrage and hearings when slick Willy Clinton fired 92 state attorneys?
SchmuckieShumer will just have to go and bark up some other tree. These libs make me laugh thinking that they will be able to bulley PresidentBush around with the threats of hearings.... he said yesterday plain and simple... " I will not run my Presidencey under the threat of hearings"
If the dems continue to push this issue with subpoenas, it will just be another example of their only agenda, which is in no way progressive. They seem to have no positive legislation to bring forth to the american people. Just pull out of Iraq, and bring the Republican administration to public hearings and more wasted time and money. They are pathetic!
God Bless President Bush

Viagra, Cialis, Enzyte, or Budweiser?
Since he quit drinking, it can't be Budweiser.

Whats he going to do if they decide to have hearings, fire the senate? He didnt hire em, the American people did.

Its an ongoing theme with him, hes tried to run everything hes done with no oversight and no questions asked. It worked well with the republicans in charge, but them days are over now.He can throw his little temper tantrum all he wants but if they decide to investigate whats he actually gonna do about it?

NJ/PAbwhunter nailed this one. If the Dems honestly are trying to get elected in 2008, they need to bring more to the table than just complaining. They need to show some kind of vision and not just make America a laughingstock on the world stage. If Fred Thompson runs for the Republicans, there will be a clear conservative message in the race. I wonder which Dem is going to step up to the plate and offer something worth considering. I know it won't be the current group of pretenders. There must be somebody out there who can run as a Dem with some kind of POSITIVE message. Isn't there??
