The reason that these stories keep getting airplay for years on end is because fatass America is too damned hungry to pay attention.We live in the Age of Cynicism, and a lot of people (some 66%) want to live for the moment and do what feels good, even if it makes them feel like crap down the road.Live fast, die young.I blame the stress of the Cold War on youth for the spark that grew into higher standards of living and lower standards of self-preservation.
