Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default I Swear, Those Interns...

Intern sold Civil War items on eBay

***

Maybe they're just pieces of paper and all of that, but they're also federal property. Who screens these people and keeps an eye on them? Sometimes it really does feel like every in DC is worried about terrrorism at the cost of everything else.

Thievery in the workplace is hardly a novelty, and all the buyers of the items will be easy to track down and be "persuaded" to return the stolen items, so they'll be recovered. I agree that it's shameful though, especially in view of the historical value of the items stolen, it's also a great example of "caveat emptor". I also feel that Ebay is just as responsible for not red flagging such items when they were posted.
