What If??

I was just curious to get your guys opinions on what you think would happen and what you would do IF.The Govt decided to ban all weapons for perssonnal and civilian use and decided to confinscate all weapons from civilians.Me personaly think that there would be a huge uprising against the govt and they could have my guns barrel first.

I really don't think there would be an uprising. I think a lot of people would keep their guns and go to jail, or simply hide them away in a cache buired behind their houses for the rest of their lives.

War is scary, and most people don't have the guts to stand up and fight unless they have absolutely nothing else to lose.

I think Im with you brushbustin! I dont know exactly what I would do, But I would do something. They definately wont be havin my guns. Its the principle behind the premise. I believe the 2nd amendment was written to keep the Government from getting too powerful. As the minutemen used guns against against the English (their Government at the time), our forefathers wanted the citizenry to be armed. Our Government is already out of hand. If the Government ruled to outlaw firearms, I would not recognize this law as it is unconstitutional. You all know how far that would get me, so I think some kind of stand would have to be taken.

They can have my guns when they pry them from my cold dead hands. I would ask the wife and child to go to grandmas and prepare for a stand-off. I will not let anyone take my freedom and right to protection and security.
