Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Do you have a link to an article or video of the interview or something? Context can result in very different interpretations of those statements.

That's great that the government is taking additional steps to sway gangmembers from being in gangs BUT they are still gangbangers committing crimes and should be relentlessly prosecuted as such. Other people have "tough luck" and don't turn to a life of crime as a result. Making an idiotic statement like that is pure BS and a copout (no pun intended) for gangbangers to blame it on their upbringing, station in life, etc.

Running into a spell of tough luck is no excuse for becoming a criminal. Just my opinion of course.

Why not prosecute them? Didn't this same moron recently fire 8 high ranking people for some pretty thin reasons? Why does Gonzales still have a job? [:@]

The second statement about education/jobs is a reference to programs aimed at young people BEFORE they enter gangs. I applaud those types of initiatives. You guys should too...

The first statement about "spell of bad luck" I suspect is taken out of context or the result of being cut off in mid-statement without getting a chance to explain what he was getting at.

Look, I dislike Gonzales as much as the next guy, because he's an a$$clown compared to John Ashcroft on 2nd Amendment issues, but, do a google search on MS13 and you'll see that the justice department is prosecuting a bunch of these guys. Calling him a "moron" because you think the justice department isn't going after MS13 members is pretty moronic in and of itself...

And, I'm curious, he fired 8... Did you express the same outrage when Clinton fired 93, including the guy charged with investigating Whitewater?
