Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Ah, Politics...

Adviser regrets pushing Edwards on Iraq

***

Giver of truth, or voluntary fall guy? Considering the timing, as well as Edward's current campaign, I have to wonder.

"WASHINGTON - Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards was skeptical about voting for the Iraq war resolution and was pushed into it by advisers looking out for his political future, according to an upcoming book by one of his former consultants. Iraq war resolution and was pushed into it by advisers looking out for his political future, according to an upcoming book by one of his former consultants."

Looks like a convenient way for aDemocratpresidential candidateto explain his flip-flop: "I really did not support the war in Iraq, that dastardly George Bush made me do it."

If John Edwards wants to be president, he's gonna have to get more adept at flip-flopping. Blaming his vote on an adviser sounds pretty lame.

Edwards has two terrific advantages going for him.

1- He ain't Hillary Clinton.

2- He ain't Barack Obama.

We share the state of NC as our "home state". I've got a greater chance of being t-boned by a submarine on the way home than he does of winning an election, here, again.

What a great excuse for Edwards. This is pretty pathetic.

perfect example of why I won't be supporting any D in the primary who didn't have the courage to vote against it at the time. I am not a fan of cowards in the face of political expediency.

did anyone else see the video of nancy polosi and that other guy, talking about their plan for pulling troop out if things arn't going well. The one guy was giving dates in the 1990's and neither of them knew by what date they were talking about on it. Tucker Carlson had the clip last night.
