Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Most people, kids included, do not live fairytale lives. Some are faced with comfortable, yet boring, daily routines. Some feel crapped upon everywhere they turn. Few are completely satisfied.

Peopleescape through books, music, movies, debating politics online, drugs, and even sim-type games. Some are healthier than others, obviously.

I think the answer in this case is to give kids something to do other than sit on their asses long enough to even have a second life. With so many dual-income households, and single households for that matter, it'll probably be impossible to do.

I watched a thing on tv recently about kids and the internet.I was shocked, not by what the kids were doing but by the half assed job they did reporting on it.

Heres a few things that i figured out.

Online bullying- turn your computer off so the big meanies cant make fun of you

Game addictions-Parents, if your kids spending 6 or 7 hours on the computer playing games every night turn your computer off and send junior outside to play.

Parents blaming the internet for kids suicides-If someone of the internet has more influence over your kids then you do then your not doing your job.Pay more attention to them and what thier doing, if your worried use the history feature and see what theyve been looking at to start with.

Kids buying drugs online-Bad news, if they want to try drugs out that bad they dont need to buy em with a credit card and have em shipped to the house.Odds are theyre already doing them and buying from such safe sources as the guy on the corner.

Porn on the internet-Hard to get away from, sell your computer and move to the mountains, live off the land, but theyll probably find it anyway

Same song, second verse.
Eh? WoW is like D&D in a lot of ways, but this Second Life is what players make of it. You're not going to trip over an NPC wyvern or gnome or something lurking within the environment.
