I decided I had better start paying attention when I realized that I will be old enough to vote in the next election. I think the Democrats would rather not nominate either Obama or Clinton. Clinton is really really popular among certain people but alot of people have really negative feelings about her too. Obama has good liberal credentials but I think the Democrats will be afraid that they will lose votes because he's black. So my guess is that the Democrats will work really hard to nominate John Edwards. As for the Republicans, Giuliani seems to be pulling ahead of everybody else in the polls and lots of people see him as a hero after 9/11 so I think he will get the Republican nomination. In the election, I think Giuliani can beat Clinton, Obama, or Edwards. So I think the next president will be Giuliani. Unfortunately for me, Giuliani is pro-abortion and anti-2nd amendment so I won't have anybody to vote for after all.

I think it'll be either Edwards or Guliani. The Democrats have the upper hand in this election and a win for them should be a given if they nominate the right candidate. That's why I think Edwards will win. However, I am not so sure the Democrats will not nominate Clinton. If they do, Guliani will win. At this point, I see the Republicans nominating Guliani.

I honestly don't know, I don't think anyone on either side has locked it up as of yet. Lots of time left to gain momentum or screw up royally, for all involved or to be involved...

While I agree with your sentement,a democrat will win theelection. Not that I want that, or Republican for that matter, its just a pretty solid bet given how Bushhas screwed the pooch.
