Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I cant pull up that site, so I assume it is the story about Pelosy planning to pull out of Iraq by 08?

If thats the case, I wonder if Leibermen is going to make the switch. OR if his switch tactic is only good for not funding the troops.

Wonder if Iraq will be strong enough to survive on it's own. I am sure glad I dont live there.

Your right, but at least a plan will bring some hope.

Pulling out is technically a 'plan', but it does absolutely nothing to resolve the issues surrounding this conflict. It took five years for Germany to ratify their new constitution following WW2, and it took longer than that to fully rebuild the national infrastructure and give hope to the citizens. Iraq is no different. Western citizensare so used to getting things in an instant that they simply will not accept anything but total success right this minute, which has been and will beimpossible in the course of every influential worldy affair.

The USA cannot abandon Iraq any time soon. Regardless of how we got where we are in Iraq; the US has to stay there untilthe Iraqis are able to handle it by themselves. That will be at least two or three years from now.
