Polar bears are only currently threatened in this country by the receding ice up north, there is certainly no shortage of them worldwide. Sounds like a turd hunt to me.

Good to see that the issue on global warming is settled? We now all agree, as clearly evident in the story I posted from the Conservative Fox Media outlet, that global warming is dramatically altering our planet. I am proud of all of you.

How is this settled?? The article said the government was considering this and is taking testimony. Green peace is apparently one of the main groups pushing this and has admitted they want to use the polar bears to go after greenhouse emissions through the endangered species act. I don't think any of your above conclusions are warranted based solely upon the article you quoted.

No species has or will last forever, greenhouse gasses or not. Enviro-nuts are crazy about saving animals from extinction, even if those species can no longer compete in the natural environment.
Let's live our lives and allownature to take its course. I believe that humans are more important than animals, surprise surprise.
Poor Polar Bears, they eat baby seals ya know....euro-greenpeace-weenies just finance themselves paychecks and free trips around the globe...bunch of weeners...
