Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama spoke over the weekend in Selma, Alabama...pandering for votes at black churches. Miraculously, Hillary has suddenly developed a deep, Southern drawl. The Senator from New York has officially been transformed. What does this tell us? That The Hildabeast will do anything to get elected. Anything. She is as insincere as the day is long .... but the single women of America will be all-too-happy to put her in office.
You can hear her transformation here. Evidently in an alternate reality, Hillary Clinton is actually from Alabama. What's interesting is that the mainstream media isn't uttering a peep about this. What if Rudy Giuliani had gone down there and pretended to have a Southern accent? It would be all over the news. But not Hillary. They'll let this one slide.
But to the seasoned Hillary observer, none of this is a surprise. We know that Hillary Clinton will do anything to get elected president of the United States. Absolutely anything. And this is just the beginning. She's not going to let David Geffen or Barack Obama or any of these people get in the way. As D1ck Morris said, the Clintons will destroy anyone that dares to cross their path.
I wonder if The Hildabeast will change her accent as she campaigns around the country? Can't wait to hear the Boston version.

Hillary isn't stupid. Going to Alabama and putting on a southern accent will gain her voters' votes. Someone in that equation is stupid, but it isn't Clinton.
Isn't it amazing how the liberals say that southern ministers who use their pulpits to preach against homosexuality, per the Bible, or use their pulpits to say that parishioners should support the Republican candidate because of social issues, are wrongly using their church for political gain? And yet it's okay for she and Obama to use a pulpit as a campaign stump? Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Well, after calling Bill Maher and Barney Frank idiots in the "Cheney should be killed" thread, I have to say, Hillary tops them both. The only thing worse is that the idiots she was talking to apparently were eating it up. They were actually clapping as she used this fake ebonics/southern accent. Maybe at the next black church she goes to, she'll get out the shoe polish and appear in "black face". They'll probably clap for that too.

I'll agree to an extent here Ben. Politics has no place in the pulpit. NONE! Whether coming from a candidate or preacher. It is very well known thatmy preacher is Rep.(which I am not) But, he's never used the pulpit to exploit his politics. Ever. He's not afraid to toe the line, but has yet to cross it. (kudo's bro. Don!) Hillary AND Obama should be ashamed. [:'(]

Hillary can speak as Southern as she wants to but she will not get my southern vote. I may be from Alabama but I am not as dumb as some of these yankees think that I am.
Every candidate is out there trying to reinvent themselves for the primaries. All of a suddenMcCain and Romney are social conservatives, Edwards goes from a moderate Democrat toridiculously liberal, Clinton has a southern drawl and Obama is trying to quit smoking. All for those precious votes.
I don't think that the majority of folks will vote FOR Hilary. However, they will be more than willing to vote AGAINST a staunchly conservative Republican. If the Reps want to retain the presidency, they are going to have to get pretty damn moderate, pretty quickly.
