Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Assault Gun Ban Reintroduced!

It looks like certain weapons and hi cap mags are being targeted again. I borrowed this from an online petition site:

This is NOT the cosmetic bill from the Clinton era and does NOT include
a sunset expiration, this one DOES ban many more guns, not just
features, going so far as to ban WWII era rifles such as the M1 Garand
and semi-automatic shotguns. Do your homework, learn about the details and contact your representative, act locally, raise awareness.

If you'd like to sign a petition against this ban, here's the link:

LMAO, Who is goanna quit hunting with their shotguns and deer rifles? You think the locals will enforce these laws? Not a chance.I will still tote min around and I am sure 99% will do the same. This is one law we will not obey. And they will find out soon enough if they try this ban. I would encourage gun shops to keep selling these guns and have loyals protect them from criminal acts from the law. This is just hogwash and funny as hell. I am not goanna worry about it. To many brothers will stand for one another in my part of the country.

Anyone saying it is ok for them to pass such a law because it won't be enforced is making a HUGE mistake in thinking that way. Sure, it might not be enforced at first, then some, and slowly more and more until it is fully enforced. How about NOT passing the ridiculous law to begin with! How about only voting for candidates who believe our right to bear arms shouldn't be infringed? I don't trust any gun grabber with the power to restrict my personal freedoms.

I had a big liberal gun grabber at work tell me about the Jim Zumbo situation, telling me all Zumbo said was that we didn't need assault rifles to hunt game, which he agreed with. But it seems like whenever there is a law proposed, it goes after SEMI automatic guns, not just fully automatic, meaning my 30-06 and a LOT of other people'shunting rifle. I had to explain to the guy that a semiauto is needed for follow up shots on game, and that it ticks me off that people like him think they can take that away from me! When you boil it all away, we don't have lunatics using semi auto's going around killing people to justify banning them. These people get intoxicated with having control over other people's lives, and it has to stop!

The Bottom line in your post say's WHAT?...........You said it my friend it's Control.
Would somebody on this or any other forum please explain the differences in FREEDOMVS CONTROL. Asmy days pass I am getting more and more confused between differentiatingthe two.
How can I have freedom when I am controlled???

True, we lose our freedoms when we elect people who make it their purpose to control/limit/alter our activities. Nobody should have that power!
