USA Melting Pot

I've been reading a few posts in this forum and there is a few that has gotten to me. I would like to know how many of you see things black and white with very little in the gray area. I have noticed a few that only believe in the gray area. In my oppinion that is whats wrong with our country. We should run our country with an iron fist, if you do something wrong you get punished for it. This melting pot our country has become is getting a lot out of control. He had aruff childhood, he only had one parent, his toe hurts, boohoo-hoo. We all have our share of problems but those of us who are poductive citezens dill with it. We don't worry about everyone elses problems. How is it that some religions can throw a carpet out on the floor and pray to there God and christians are scared to say "One Nation Under God". It's our country and if you don't like our constitution get out.

Melting Pot really doesn't have anything to do with the law or the Constitution does it?

You really know some one that is afraid to say "one nation under God?"

This country would be better if it were "One Nation Under Aught".

Charlie, I believe what he was referring to is the fact that nobody is too offended if others practice their religion but get themselves tied into a knot when the word "Christ" is mentioned.

It's like I've said repeatedly: The problem with this great melting pot is everyone wants in the pot but no one wants to melt.

Anyone with a basic knowledge of metallurgy can attest that just throwing several different metals into a pot is no guarantee that they will alloy with each other, some metals are just not compatible with others and should be excluded for the good of the whole.

Everybody thinks this country owes them something- especially the citizens, i guess even non-citizens (illegals), who just got here. How bout we change our thinking to what can a citizen or potential citizen DO for this country. The left always thinks bout 'what kind of aidcan we give this group or thatgroup'. Its backwards if you ask me and will lead us to ruin.

not true...i see alot of people getting offended about muslims practicing their religion.

and jews too, for that matter.

and if wiccans show up, we'll haveBattle Royale.

I can honestly say I have never seen anyone getting upset about a Muslim or a Jew.
