Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default The Jesus tomb "bombshell"

What do you make of the supposedly groundbreaking revalations about Jesus' tomb that are going to be part of the documentary to be aired on the Discovery Channel Sunday evening?

Deception as been warned about in the bible. Hogwash to the believers and it just makes the atheists more powerful in the future to corrupt more peoples minds. It is freedom of speech though and should be labeled as fiction for the time being. The discovery channel is hogwash also. They are always assuming without positive information that the things they say are true. It's a discovery of their imagination on what they want it to be and not really what it is. I will watch it but like the divince code for entertainment only and not as the truth. I posted this on the religion forum also. It's called Jesus didn't rise from the dead. I found it quite as the bible has taught us for those who believe.

2Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Romans 16:18 For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

i think they are overemphasizing it. i doubt that such a claim could ever be authenticated, whether it was true or not.

best not to speculate, in my opinion.

I've read multiple accounts of this in the msm. some articles seemed very dismissive of it, others gave it credence. while it's certainly interesting, and an archealogical curiosity, people are going to believe what they want to believe. most christians will dismiss it, and cite experts. others will promote it, and citeexperts.

i can't imagine a historical figure (except perhaps mohamed) about whom everyone invloved could be less objective than Jesus Christ.

I think that I will watch it. I am at least half expecting it to be like the show that Geraldo did in opening that vault a number of years ago.

I believe if they had udebatable truth it would change absoloutely nothing in many people's mind.

I don't believe in God but honestly feel it would be a terrifying thing if someone was ever to prove that there was no God.

That is just too easy.

Not me, poor choice of words on my part.One way is if you watch these programs History channel et, which I used to love, you will see many
subliminal suggestions. Religion, politics.Watch them closely andI think youwill see some common denominators.Draw your own conclusions.
