Tin foil is a little too strong a phrase, but I'd say that's being a little paranoid.

There's that nut up north who won't pay his income taxes. He's alledgedly armed to the teeth, so right now the feds don't need to wait to make a scene. They'll probably have to kill the guy before he'd be willing to surrender, unfortunately. If he does survive, he'll spend a good long time in federal prison for this stunt, in addition to the tax evasion charges.

We need to worry about legislation first, and the ATF taking out cults and petty criminals second. Most of us are relatively clean, and should focus on mainstream issues.

Remarkable. Kind of like if the SS is knocking on your door, you deserve to get shot if you don't get on the cattle car. Do a little reading, there were some horrible abuses under Janet Reno's regime not least of which a young boy was extracted from a relative's home at gunpoint to be sent back to a country which happened to be a communist dictatorship.

In my opinion, Janet Reno was a criminal, period. Ruby Ridge, Waco, Elian Gonzales, etc. etc.

But to say that is indicative of all Democrat administrations? I don't think so. I think it was just one attorney general who liked to abuse her power. It's unfortunate that the Democrats let her get away with it, but that doesn't mean it's going to repeat itself when the next Democrat gets in the White House.
